BOUNCE | Indoor Trampoline Park | Marleston | Review

BOUNCE at Marleston

Rediscover the magic at this oversized indoor playground, with trampolines and ninja obstacles galore.

Indoor trampoline park BOUNCE has flung open its doors again after a three-month closure due to government restrictions.

While the venue’s been shut to the public, the BOUNCE tribe have been very busy, behind the scenes, giving the place a refresh.

This includes building a brand new check-in and café experience. The café space now offers extra seating, a large balcony viewing area, and dedicated power for laptops and phones – meaning you can work remotely while watching over the whole venue.

Netting between the zones has also been removed, giving the place a more light-filled, open vibe – showing off just how massive the space is. The giant inflatable Big Bag has also been replaced with a new one.

Other things to note, concerning the current restrictions (more info here):

  • Sessions are now 50 minutes long (instead of an hour), with a 10-minute cleaning blitz prior to the next session starting.
  • It’s recommended you visit BOUNCEinc.com.au to book your sessions before turning up.
  • All general admission ticket types (including Play Dates for toddlers and preschoolers – on weekdays during school terms) remain available as normal.
  • Standard GA tickets can also be available for 9am weekday sessions.
  • No parties are available at this stage.
  • All operating hours remain the same.

For the uninitiated, the Marleston indoor adventure park provides an adrenaline rush for all ages. Think 50+ interconnected trampolines, plus trampoline Slam Dunk hoops, a Dodgeball court, and oodles more.

Also renowned is its X-Park obstacle course, where you can get your ‘ninja’ on. Enjoy the rush of extreme sports and freestyle gymnastics – without the hard landing.

Co‐founder Ant Morell says BOUNCE iS something kids and adults alike can get excited about:

BOUNCE is a place, where the walls become the floor, and the rules of gravity no longer apply. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a kid, launching into a giant airbag, or an air‐sports expert, training for the X Games – we’ve discovered that, given the chance, pretty much everyone loves the euphoric feeling of flight. And this is the closest most of us will get to flying.

Bringing thrill-seeking and adrenaline sport into the mainstream, BOUNCE uses trampolines and padding to help make the domain of action sports accessible to everyone. The Adelaide venue is also home to a Super Tramp – the biggest trampoline in the country, giving users even more height and a feeling of floating.

Trampoline training is about the best workout there is. It’s low impact and proven to improve bone density, muscle toning and cardio fitness, with 10 minutes of jumping equivalent to running for 30 minutes!

Ant says:

We believe the success of BOUNCE is driven by the fact that, deep down, we all want to let go and be active just for the fun of it. This is a destination that can offer the benefits and joy of action sports – without the hard edge of competition or the need for hundreds of hours of training.

Unleash your free spirit!

What we like about it

  • The main stage, the Free Jump Arena, has about 50 interconnected trampolines, tumble tracks and banked walls – it’s like free-running and parkour made easy.
  • The high-performance trampolines enable greater bounce and height – perfect for skills development and more advanced manoeuvres. (The safety policy here sets a height restriction of 110cm and over.)
  • Got a Ninja Warrior fan among your crew? My boys loved the adventure challenge course, X-Park, featuring moveable blocks, vault boxes, swinging bars, and more.
  • The 5x5m Super Tramp is often used by air sport athletes for training, but the extra space and super-slow bounce is a cool experience for anyone.
  • The Wall combines high-performance trampolines with vertical walls, of varying heights, for freestyle tricks and wall running – like a skate park made out of trampolines!

Things to consider

  • Booking online in advance is recommended as sessions sell out.
  • BOUNCE grip socks are required at all times while on the trampolines. (They’re yours to buy and keep for $2.90.)
  • There are no age restrictions, but to ensure the safety of bouncers, Junior Jumpers must be able to walk unassisted and be under 110cm.
  • Some BOUNCE zones have height restrictions.
  • BOUNCE recommends patrons arrive 15 minutes early to bookings to allow time for check-in.

Coffee and food options nearby

Got the munchies? There’s no need to go anywhere, with a café right on-site. As previously mentioned, the cafe’s recently been revamped to include extra seating, a large balcony viewing area, and dedicated power for laptops and phones – so you can even work remotely while watching over the whole venue.

Fantastic staff. Best ever. So safety conscious yet friendly and fair. Naite and Lewis were incredible with the children.
