C9 Chocolate & Gelato Dessert Bar in Adelaide.
Chocolate lovers, dessert lovers and gelato lovers, rejoice! C9 Chocolate & Gelato Dessert Bar is the perfect place to sample all things sweet and delicious in the heart of Adelaide! It offers a mix of fantastic gelato, decadent desserts, pastries, doughnuts, cronuts, hot drinks and Mega Shakes.
Located on Level 1, Rundle Place, C9 Chocolate & Gelato Dessert Bar sits in the middle of the entertainment precinct, alongside the Funlab’s Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, Hijinx Hotel and Strike Bowling. You’ll find lounges nearby and casual seating with tables alongside the eatery.
C9 offers a great range of desserts, some with options for different gelato flavours, toppings and sauces. These desserts are quite decadent, beautifully presented and very delicious! We tried the Chocolate Gelato Gem, Waffle Bowl and Party Fondue platter (great for sharing). The Gelato was very flavoursome with a lovely texture and we’re so pleased to say that the Chocolate Gelato was very, very chocolatey!
Some of the gelato flavours on offer include Ferrero Rocher, Oreo, Super Fudge Brownie, Chocolate, Espresso, Golden Gay Time and Honeycomb. They also offer a mix of gluten free, vegan and sugar free flavour options. For people that prefer fruity flavours, there’s Mango & Cream, Lemon and Passionfruit. We counted around 20 different flavour options to choose from.
If you’re with kids, there are simpler and smaller gelato options. Kids can choose a dip cone or waffle basket, add gelati and then add toppings! This is also a cheaper option if you’re only popping in for a quick gelato.
If you’re looking for drinks, they have an amazing range to choose from. You’ll find babycino, coffee, tea and some uniquely flavoured hot chocolates. They also serve milkshakes, thickshakes, cold drinks and mega shakes. The mega shakes are topped with treats like waffles, cronuts, cream and chocolate syringes!
If you’re hankering for something simple but delicious, you’ll also find pastries in their cabinet including Brownies, Pistachio Slice, Lava Cake, Hazelnut & Nutella Cronuts, White Chocolate and Strawberry Cronuts and Pistachio Cronutx, to name a few. It’s good to see Cinnamon Doughnuts, Chocolate Doughnuts and Strawberry Doughnuts available, perfect for kids who aren’t keen on try a new flavour. They also serve Croffles – a mix of croissant and a waffle. We’ll add these to our must-try list!
C9 Chocolate & Gelato is for everyone! This includes dogs! Treat your special doggo to a Pup Pops, made specially precious pooches!
Let’s not forget a little bit of an extra treat for adults – the Tipsy Bliss: Liquor Infused Ice Cream looks like a winner for a girl’s afternoon out sans kids!
We’ll definitely be back to sample more of their amazing goodies!
