Carclew Dusk Arts Market
Let the festivities begin! On Tuesday 27 November, Carclew‘s elegant garden and grounds transform into a festive Dusk Arts Market bustling with artisan market stalls, live music, interactive art installations, bars and food trucks.
A South Australian Public Schools choir will pop up to perform renditions of favourite carols as you’ve never heard before. Soak up the indie, melancholic and ambient tones of Hannah Yates, POPPI and W.M.N. before you strap in for the headline act, winners of the 2018 Adelaide Fringe music award – The Ukulele Death Squad. Fresh from their sold-out Edinburgh & Adelaide Fringe festival seasons bringing stagecraft, mad thumping rhythms and outrageous solos, they will quite literally blow your minds.
There’ll be plenty happening in between. In the markets, meet South Australian artists and designers with all the hard to find and unique pieces for the ultimate bespoke gift giving.
Create your own eclectic custom headpiece or badges or play in the child-friendly arts installations. Replace the traditional festive photo and create a scene in the Carclew photobooth.
Lounge on the lawn while enjoying street food from some of Adelaide’s favourite food trucks. Carclew’s friends from Alpha Box & Dice will be on deck to keep you hydrated.
AND that’s not all – see the full list of vendors and acts on Facebook.
Enjoy a fantastic evening as the sun sets on the iconic Carclew house and grounds.
