CarnEvil Nights – Halloween event at Adelaide Showground
CarnEvil will be held at the Adelaide Showground and feature a range of haunted mazes, CarnEvil rides and Escape Rooms, swarms of scare actors, scary showbags, gruesome CarnEvil games, fire dancers and entertainers and themed food and beverage outlets.
The event will be split into two sessions with an afternoon sunset session suitable for families with children and after dark sessions for ages 15+.
The Sunset Sessions run from 4.30pm – 7pm and are targeted towards families with children aged between 9 and 14 years. This session will be great fun for kids who love Halloween and enjoy dressing up and will not be too scary. There will be plenty of scary themed rides the kids can enjoy such as a ghost train, dodgem cars, fun factories, mirror mazes and the haunted mazes.
The scare actors will be present to chat with kids and give high fives in this family-friendly session.
The after-dark sessions will run from 8pm – 10.30pm and are suitable for ages 15 and up.
The event will feature Australia’s scariest walkthrough attraction – Hollywood Horrors, which features 13 themed rooms of terror, live actors, animatronics and a feast of lights and sound effects. As well as CarnEvil themed rides including a Dragons Castle ghost train, Dead Pirates Nest, Tower of Terror, Spooky dodgem cars, Psychedelic Clown Maze and the Spider Web Wheel as well as gruesome side shows games.
You can also challenge yourself and your friends in three frightfully scary Escape Rooms. Locked in a room you will need to find the clues and solve the problems to escape the terror before time runs out.
There will be a range of showbags and novelties available for purchase plusha Halloween themed novelty toys and masks.
A number of food trucks will be at the event serving up a range of options including themed food and beverages from pus-filled doughnuts, blood bags, finger hot dogs and blood dipped dagwood dogs as well as the not so scary favourites such as pulled pork rolls, chicken nuggets, chips, burgers, and fairy floss.
