Children’s Artspace Opening & Free Family Weekend

It’s a free family frenzy presented by Families at Adelaide Festival Centre

To celebrate the opening of the exciting new Children’s Artspace at Adelaide Festival Centre, Families at Adelaide Festival Centre is celebrating with a weekend full of free activities and workshops for the whole family to enjoy.

From 10am – 3pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March, kick off your festival season with a fun weekend out with your family.

Children’s Artspace

Children’s Artspace will be a place for all children, students, and families to go and share big ideas and engage with art created by and for South Australian children.  Showcasing a new exhibition each school term, Children’s Artspace will first be splashed with all the colours of the rainbow in Kaleidoscope: Playing with Colour: an exhibition created by South Australian artist Ruby Chew with the help of years 3–7 students at Hackham West School and Keller Road Primary School.

Family Weekend

Family Weekend will include free events, activities, and workshops for everyone to enjoy. Hosted by Families at Adelaide Festival Centre, this event is a great opportunity to experience a day of art, creativity, and fun.

Kidtrepreneur Market

With many young movers and shakers creating, branding, and selling their wares, what better opportunity to provide a welcoming platform for local Kidtrepreneurs to sell their creations to the community. Expressions of Interest are open for stall holders and performers with a desire to get their product out there. Register here.
