CIRCUS - The Show

Circus – The Show Play & Go Review 2021

For a bit of Fringe fun in the school holidays, Circus the Show has all the variety and laughs for a great family outing. Fantastic acrobatics, hoops, magic tricks that will have you puzzled, basketball tricks, aerial talent, giant hoop, and a clown with a huge balloon. It has plenty of silliness and laughs and will keep kids entertained the whole time. Audience interaction was plentiful with kids eager to participate, bringing lots of noise and atmosphere to the beautiful Her Majesty’s Theatre.

The beautiful Her Majesty’s Theatre gave Circus the Show a grand stage and old word feel. The entertainment was good old fashioned family fun, with jokes that little kids love.

One of the acts, local brother and sister duo Diamond Duo are familiar entertainers. We’ve watched them grow up performing in the Mall and it’s great to see how much they have perfected their talent to produce a slick act with plenty of jaw-dropping acrobatics.

It’s always amazing to see what a hula hoop multi-tasker can do with a multiple of hoops, and even more impressive to discover later that she can also do aerial silk stunts.

The clever magician had tricks up his sleeves that truly wowed and had you pondering about what you saw.  There was plenty of variety with an expert on basketball tricks and a giant hoop artist. The lively Ringmaster kept the show moving along with plenty of laughs, along with his side-kick, Clown, and they both added some of their own magic and fun to the mix.

Circus – The Show is performing at Adelaide Fringe 2024.
