Cleland Night Walks
Night Walks are back at Cleland Wildlife Park this summer!
See what wakes up when the sun goes down, and explore the world of Australia’s nocturnal animals.
Join their experienced guides for a night time tour of Cleland. You’ll get up close to potoroos, bettongs and bandicoots as they forage for food. Hear the haunting cry of owls and the Bush Stone Curlew, and see what kangaroos and wallabies get up to when darkness falls. The tour also coincides with feeding times for the Tasmanian Devils – something most visitors never get to experience.
You’ll be provided with torches and lanterns to light your way, and there will be locally-sourced refreshments at the end of the tour.
Due to popular demand, there will be an increased number of tours this year. There are three unique NightWalks experiences to choose from so come and join in the fun with Cleland’s wild residents!
Public Night Walks
The public Night Walks start at dusk (time to be confirmed at time of booking) and are suitable for all ages. The tour includes a night feed of the Tasmanian Devils and light refreshments sourced from the local Adelaide Hills region.

Private Night Walks
Private NightWalks are available at a time to suit you and are perfect for the ultimate wildlife experience seeker. The tour can be completely tailored to your needs and includes a night feed of the Tasmanian Devils and light refreshments sourced from the local Adelaide Hills region. In addition, each member of your tour will receive a 2-for-1 voucher to visit Cleland during normal visiting hours. Tours start from $300. To discuss your requirements please call 8339 2444.
Indulgence Night Walks
For a more intimate experience, join our exclusive Indulgence Night Walks. Ideally designed for two people (maximum 10 people), this private tour can be tailored to suit your interests. The tour starts with an Adelaide Hills’ tasting plate of local meats, cheeses and dips before going off to explore the park. You will also get the chance to hold a display animal (reptile or possum) and have your photo taken. At the end of the tour you can then relax with a coffee, tea or hot chocolate with locally made chocolates. In addition, each member of your tour will receive a 2-for-1 voucher to visit Cleland during normal visiting hours. Tour starts from $460. To discuss your requirements please call 8339 2444.
