Beachside Playground in the Adelaide Hills
Channelling the larrikin spirit over the Australia Day long weekend, tonnes of sand will be transported to the picturesque Glen Ewin Estate to create a beach side playground in the Adelaide Hills as one of the premier new events on the Crush Festival program.
The highly anticipated event, The North Shore Beach Party in the Hills will bring sand, surf and fun to the Glen Ewin Estate Playing Field (surrounded by the orchards) in a novel way synonymous with the national day of celebrations.
General Manager of Glen Ewin Estate, Willa Wauchope said that he wanted to do something fresh and exciting – the first ever man-made beach oasis in the hills!
My team and I have curated a day of fun for all ages.
The young at heart can enjoy a vast range of activities like a giant slip ‘n’ slide, summer food stalls, wine tasting, icy- poles (think champagne, gin & fruit flavours), grape crushing on the Stomp the Grapes Stage and live music and DJ’s to see you through to the early evening.”
Parents can sit back, relax and soak up the sun whilst sipping on Adelaide Hill’s finest wines whilst their kids play in the chill out pools and enjoy fun flavoured icy-poles and inflatable toys,” he said.
For those wanting a more premium experience, there are a limited number of private pools that can be booked for six people for the entire day. The Exclusive Spa Package boasts a VIP experience that includes a private paddling pool and a delicious food and beverage package that will make your mouth water. Expect to be served oysters and antipasto platters with matched wines and much more.
Glen Ewin Estate boasts gorgeous native landscape on a backdrop of old stone buildings and that form a unique and fun setting to the ultimate beach party this Australia Day weekend.
