Day on the Dene – Hawthorndene Primary School
Day on the Dene (DOTD) is the inaugural music festival set to be held by Hawthorndene Primary School on the school oval on Sunday 13 November 2016. For a gold coin donation, come and relax, dance and play to the sounds of local musicians.
The headlining musical acts include local artists The Sparkling Howards and the Artisan Rabbits, with the day also featuring smaller spots filled with even more Adelaide-based musical outfits including the school’s own Monochrome Rainbow, and the Mitcham City Band amongst others.
A great day out is guaranteed with a choice of wines from Pertaringa Wines, Vale Brewing beers and ciders, as well as gorgeous gourmet food options from local eateries including Joan’s Pantry, Montagna Café and GD’s Wholesale Fruit Suppliers. There will be lots of fun activities and rides for the kids!
Stall holders from the hills area and greater Adelaide will be in attendance to offer a bit of retail therapy, including efforts from the children of Hawthorndene Primary School, all of whom are getting involved in the day.
