eSafety Commissioner Website
Julie Inman Grant (pictured) is Australia’s eSafety Commissioner and she is leading the world’s first government regulatory agency committed to keeping its citizens safer online.
Cyberbullying is when someone uses the internet to be mean to a child or young person so they feel bad or upset. The eSafety website allows anyone being cyber bullied to report it through a government website. If you are being cyber bullied or you know someone who may want to report it, simply use the website to file a complaint.
The eSafety Commission can investigate cyberbullying of children, adult cyber abuse, image-based abuse (sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images without the consent of the person shown) and illegal and restricted content.
