Firstival – Try Something New in July at Libraries SA
Firstival is set to return to the State’s public libraries this July with a fresh line up of events to try for the first time.
Firstival is a reminder for us all to reconnect with our curiosity, to book out some time in our busy lives to do something different. Because at any age, in any walk of life, learning does wonders for our wellbeing.
Over 150 experiences are on offer across the 2024 program, from trying your first sound bath to paint and sip sessions, terrarium workshops, soft circuit sewing and nature journaling, there is something new for everyone to try at their local library this winter.
Firstival kicks off on Monday 1 July, with a month-long calendar of unique events hosted by individual public libraries across South Australia. The festival program includes experiences for those of all ages, which includes the school holidays, providing a huge range of activities for families.
Firstival will be held from Monday 1 July until Tuesday 31 July 2024, with a program of unique, free and low-cost events to held across the 130 public libraries.
