Football Star Academy Launch
Football Star Academy will launch in Adelaide at Linden Park Primary school on Saturday 10 August 2019, featuring fun football (soccer) activities and free clinics for kids.
Football Star Academy is proud to bring their award-winning soccer programs to Adelaide for the first time. Founded in Victoria in 2002, Football Star Academy (FSA) offers soccer skill programs to young children aged between 5-12 years old.
The free event will take place between 9am -11am and will offer fun activities for kids, coffee and nibbles and a free raffle with a chance to win great prizes.
Through skill based sport programs, FSA empowers children to believe in themselves and nurture a love of sport through focused attention, dedication and simply having fun.
Currently, FSA has over 150 locations nationally with close to 7,000 kids enrolled in programs.
FSA has strong relationships with families, clubs and schools and specialises in teaching young children the skills of sport, life skills and values as well as keeping active and making healthy choices.
Founder and CEO Peter Nikolakopoulos says,
“We are creating a movement of change for tomorrow’s grassroots leaders. We are passionate about getting children moving and in the routine of moving their body in a fun and professional environment.”
FSA Adelaide Manager, Bill Misailidis, is excited to launch the programs in the Adelaide community.
“We are looking forward to being involved in an environment where all children can experience the beauty of football. We want to enable children to feel comfortable to express themselves and learn not only sport specific skills but skills for life.”
