Kids can join in the Adelaide Central Market’s free workshops, including a gingerbread cooking demonstration and free festive craft in the lead up to Christmas.
Adelaide Central Market’s festive events calendar is packed with fun for all ages this December. Enjoy the joyous atmosphere as entertainment roams the Market aisles and let the kids get creative with a range of craft activities during the first week of school holidays. Workshops are free and bookings are not required, however short wait times may apply.

Gingerbread Decorating Demonstration with Hilton Adelaide & Larissa Sewell
- Free school holiday cooking demonstration on how to bake the perfect gingerbread cookies with Market ingredients, and all the tips and tricks for the perfect decorations too

- Get hands-on and create beautiful, personalised gifts and tags

Australian Girls Choir Performance
- Join the Australian Girls Choir for Christmas carols at the Market
- Various dates
- Support a fantastic cause by contributing to the OzHarvest Tree
- The Tree of Goodness will be on the Eastern Roadway (across from Angelakis Bros. Seafood) from Saturday 20 December to Wednesday 24 December or you can donate online
