Free Ferris Wheel in Port Adelaide

From the City of Port Adelaide Enfield Facebook page – “The Premier, Steven Marshall, today announced the reintroduction of restrictions in response to the recent COVID-19 cluster outbreak.
A number of these restrictions will have an impact on some of the services and programs for at least the next two weeks. The Ferris wheel at the Lighthouse and The Lights Community and Sports Centre will be CLOSED from Monday 16 November and we will provide further updates to you as soon as we can.
Further information can be found at SA Health. It is important to be vigilant and we can assure you that the City of PAE will be working along with you, to help keep our community safe.”
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield will be setting up a FREE Ferris Wheel in front of the lighthouse in Port Adelaide from Friday, 13 November for 10 days.
This program seeks to support local businesses and bring people to the area in a safe way. Make a day of it and grab something to eat and drink from a local business then explore the Port. There are lots of local shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs waiting to welcome you, plus plenty of tourism experiences on offer from museums and historical buildings, through to tours and river cruises.
PAE residents get discounted tickets on Port and Semaphore tourism experiences taking part in the “PAE it Forward” initiative if you book ahead.
Free Ferris Wheel rides will be available on the following days and times:
- Saturdays 12noon – 10pm
- Sundays 11am – 5pm
- Weekdays 6pm – 10pm
Port Adelaide Lighthouse is located on the North Parade in Port Adelaide.
