Free Fun – Home Delivered | Free Family Activities by Scouts SA

FREE FUN – Home Delivered by Scouts SA

FREE FUN – Home Delivered is an action-packed program of free, activities available online and delivered via email to families at home. The program is an initiative of Scouts SA and is being offered as a Community Service for South Australians.

Aimed at kids aged 4-11 and their families, FREE FUN – Home Delivered will offer via email, a series of monthly fun indoor and outdoor activities and challenges. Whilst some will be fully ‘kid ready’, others will enable parents and children to undertake tasks together and further enjoy that priceless time they spent with each other during COVID restrictions.

FREE FUN activities whilst not being a replica of the vast array of indoor and outdoor activities undertaken by those enrolled in Scouts, will offer similar projects that, like Scouting, will bring out the ability of the kids to challenge themselves, build resilience, learn new skills and most of all – have fun!

Stay tuned every month to keep the whole family engaged, active and having fun with activities such as:

  • Kite making and flying
  • Koala and Possum tracking (area dependant)
  • Plus, every parent’s must-have Birthday party and sleepover ideas
  • How to make armpit fudge (yes, its edible)
  • Invisible Ink for Secret Spy messages

December FREE FUN – Home Delivered Activities

? The December issue of Free Fun has a heap of amazing things to make and do with kids and naturally it’s all about Christmas with yummy treats to make (kid-friendly of course with no heat required) and some fun gifts for the kids to make for friends.  There’s a Xmas tree decoration that is likely to be hung for many years to come as a memory of a year like no other.

?? Free Fun’s trip around the world continues with this month’s stop being the Netherlands with lots of fun facts and an instruction sheet on how to make your own windmill.

Signing up for Free Fun’s monthly e-news is free – of course!

All the activity sheets from previous months Free Fun e-newsletters are right on the Free Fun website so if you’re looking for a host of activities to make, see or do these holidays, it’s a click away
