Garage Sale Trail | 7-8 & 14-15 Nov 2026
Garage Sale Trail is Australia’s festival of pre-loved stuff, dedicated to helping you extend the life of your unwanted things and find the ultimate pre-loved gem. This year is the last hurrah for the Garage Sale Trail!
Garage Sale Trail is Australia’s biggest secondhand treasure hunt. Every November, homes, unit blocks, schools, community groups, charities and pubs across the country host garage sales and secondhand markets, on the same two weekends.
It’s all about making secondhand second nature – turning unwanted items into cash, scoring rare vintage bargains and keeping good stuff out of landfill.
This November marks the final ever Garage Sale Trail. After 16 amazing years of bringing communities together, 2026 is the national grand finale.
Whether you’re a seasoned thrifter or joining the trail for the very first time, this is your very last chance to be part of one of Australia’s favourite secondhand movements.
With more than 4 million pre-loved items going up for sale each year, you can find almost anything on the Garage Sale Trail.
Garage Sale Trail is happening on 7-8 and 14-15 November 2026, Australia-wide. You can take part on one day or more.
Be a Seller:
Whether you have a garage full of clutter, a wardrobe to clear out or a fundraising goal for your school, 2026 is your last chance to be part of the fun! And with more people than ever expected to hit the streets in search of bargains, there has never been a better time to get involved.
