You’re invited to join the official Giant Christmas Tree Lighting event on Saturday 15 November from 6 pm at Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga.

Enjoy this free, community celebration featuring MC Shanelle Franklin, and loads of live entertainment and music from Sun of Africa, The Baker Boys, World Music SA and the talented Primary Schools Festival of Music Choir.

Bring your family, friends, and picnic blankets - plus there will be tasty treats available for purchase from food trucks on-site.

It’s the perfect way to kick off the festive season!

♿ This is an accessible event. People with mobility difficulties can reserve a spot in the accessible area to enjoy the concert comfortably.

The SA Government-owned and Autism SA-operated Sensory Bus is located near Reconciliation Plaza in Victoria Square. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is staffed by Autism SA therapists to provide a welcoming, sensory-friendly experience.
