Giant Jumble Sale & Market Day at the Summertown Church Grounds
The Summertown Church, sheds, hall and car park area are all going to be overflowing again this year, waiting for you to come and rummage.
There will be books, children’s toys, household items and electrical, masses of jewellery, clothes, camping gear, swags, instruments, and a Men’s Shed that is bursting at the seams. There will also be some quality furniture and the odd antique.
Grab something hot from the BBQ, enjoy a coffee and check out the lovely cake or plant stalls. Children will love the homemade baked delights, especially if there are any of Margaret’s famous jelly cakes left!
The Norton Summit Primary School will be there as usual, with their stall of tasty goodies, raising funds for their Year 7 Canberra trip.
This year the Aldgate Tree Farm will be joining the gaggle of independent Market Stalls in the car par. They will be bringing loads of deciduous trees, magnolias and some great Jumble Sale specials available only on the day.
Funds raised on the day are dispersed to a wide variety of organisations, people in need in the community, and to assist the local school Christian Pastoral Support Worker.
