Girls Programming Network is coming to Adelaide for its first workshop!
In this workshop you’ll make a hands on Scissors Paper Rock game using Python! Play against your friends, or find out if you can beat a computer in this awesome project!
Students donβt need to have any programming experience to come along, there is something for high school girls of all levels. Theyβll cover the basics if youβre new to Python and show you some extra cool stuff if youβre already a programming pro!
Lunch, snacks and computers will be provided for students.
Children’s Activities: The whole workshops is design and run for kids. There will be heaps of fantastic volunteers who are all women in tech. They will be there to help the students do their projects and to share their exciting stories about studying and working in teach.

Who: GPN is designed for high school students from years 7 to 12. | GPN is a welcoming environment for girls, trans students and non-binary students and their tutors all identify similarly.
