Glatisse, the ultimate destination for artisanal gelato and decadent desserts!

Glatisse is a small shop with a big heart and the most delicious sweet treats that are made in house. Located off Milne Road, in the north-eastern suburb of Redwood Park, Glatisse is the gourmet gelato shop the neighbourhood didn’t know they needed but are so glad they have.

As a local to Glatisse, I am fortunate to say that I have been coming for sweet treats since they opened their doors in 2022 and this place just seems to get better. Judging by the crowds and buzz of the gelato bar, these sentiments must be shared by others too as Glatisse is often a hive of activity with take away orders and drop in diners.

Pulling into the car park the first thing you notice about Glatisse is the big windows that entice you in. Once inside the space is white, light and has pops of blue with their branding with little ice cream stickers on the windows and a fun metal ice cream design at the front of the shop.

Moving onto the menu, Glatisse offer familiar favourites such as lemon, chocolate, pistachio and a range of sorbet options. They also introduce limited edition flavours on a regular basis with a recent example being their Turkish delight. With the weather cooling down they have also recently launched waffles in a variety of flavour combinations. We tried the cookies and cream as well as their Dubai chocolate and both were a hit with our family! Other winter warmer items include churros fries, stick date pudding, lava cake and their classic hot chocolate with melted milk or dark choc drizzled around the mug!

So why do we keep coming back to Glatisse? Honestly for so many reasons, the quality of their products is consistently good, it has a relaxed inviting vibe and the owner Loc and his staff are so warm and welcoming. The team are always happy to answer questions about their products, they offer kids samples and their menu caters to many dietary requirements including gluten free, dairy free and halal friendly!

It’s important to note that Glatisse is a small shop so expect it to be busy during peak times but know it’s worth the wait! They also offer take home packs which are really convenient for in-home indulgences as well as special treats for the kids.

So the next time you have a sweet craving and don’t know where to go, give Glatisse a try!

• Glatisse is a small gelato bar so it’s not ideal for big groups at peak times. There is also no toilet onsite
• Glatisse is located in a small group of shops but there is always ample parking and its free
