48 Flavours | Gouger St, Magill Rd & Paralowie

The name says it all – they have an amazing range of flavours with an emphasis on Asian and Vegan Flavours including Apple Pie, Black Sesame,  Jackfruit Sorbet, Pandan, Pear Gorgonzola Roasted Walnut and Organic Fig, plus all the traditional flavours like Pistachio, Hazelnut, Chocolate and Vanilla etc.
78 Gouger Street, Adelaide | 295 Magill Road, Trinity Gardens | Paralowie Village Shopping Centre, Liberator Dr, Paralowie

Bottega Gelateria

You won’t find any rainbow gelati here or anything with artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. You will, however, find gelati and sorbet made from scratch using traditional Italian methods, using only real ingredients and because of this, the flavours are intense and the texture is smooth and creamy. Flavours change but you will find classic gelato flavours like Dutch Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Coffee, Pecan Maple and Tahitian Vanilla plus lemon, watermelon and strawberry sorbet.

Cibo Espresso

South Australians love their coffee, and Cibo is our own great success story (and one of the reasons why Starbucks went bust here). Get a gelati with your coffee at cafes all around Adelaide – you can’t miss their distinctive red signage.

There are too many cafes around Adelaide to mention – find them all here.

Coffee Barn & Gelateria | Moonta

Touted as the best ice creamery on Yorke Peninsula, they make all their fabulous gelati on their premises, and are also well known for their pancakes too.

Gelatissimo | Rundle St, Gouger St, Norwood & Glenelg

Gelatissimo is a firm favourite of one of the Play & Go families. Their gelato selection will make your eye pop out on stalks. Their premium dairy and sorbet flavours are made fresh daily – and the best news is that with so many flavours on offer a taste test is encouraged.

All the gelato flavours at Pasta Deli are made on-site, and they continually change their range of flavours. Pasta Deli has been awarded as one of Adelaide’s best Gelaterias. Tip: try their apple pie flavoured gelato. You can also pick up some great salads, pasta and other meals for dinner here, or dine in.

Ice Cream Places in Adelaide : Royal Copenhagen

Royal Copenhagen | Brighton, Hahndorf, Henley Beach, Mt Gambier, Port Noarlunga, Semaphore

They make their ice cream fresh daily at their small factory in Adelaide using only fresh cream and real milk. We love their waffle cones, especially dipped in chocolate, as well as their toppings bar where you can add your own chocolate or caramel topping, and sprinkles. You know it’s Summer when there’s a line up out the front at Henley Beach… but it’s worth the wait (and it moves fairly fast).
