The Harvest Festival McLaren Vale is a celebration of the diversity of food, wine, music and the arts from the McLaren Vale region.
This annual event attracts approximately 10,000 people to the McLaren Vale region and is all about fun and family, offering the visitor exquisite tastes of the region’s world class wines and tantalising gourmet food.
This annual celebration commences with the annual Art Exhibition held in the beautiful surrounds of the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Visitor Information Centre.
The Harvest Festival Community Day
The festivities continue with the Harvest Festival Community Day on Saturday 14 January 2017, set in the relaxed atmosphere of the McLaren Vale Oval.
The Festival is a truly family friendly event in which participants can enjoy a tantalising mix of regional fare, family friendly activities, fresh produce, local wines, beers, and a good crowd vibe in an outdoor setting.

- Regional Produce Markets
- Wine, Beer & Food Master Classes
- Celebrity Chefs
- Celebrity Wine Spitting
- Local Live Bands
- Bendigo Bank Children’s zone
Feature events include:
- 11 am Parade of Children and Blessing of the Harvest– all welcome to participate!
- Official Opening – Federal Minister for Mayo, Rebekha Sharkie MP
- Celebrity Wine Spitting Challenge and NEW Celebrity Bottling Challenge
- Cooking Master Classes by the region’s best chefs
- Wine, Cheese, Beer and Olive Oil Masterclasses
- Entertainment and activities for children of all ages including –
NEW Bendigo Bank Family Zone; Face painting, Animal Farm, Toddler Toy area, Outdoor Games, Giant Inflatable Slide, Circus performances and; - Circus Elements Masterclasses – kids and teens
Enjoy live entertainment all day on the Main Stage including The City of Onkaparinga Concert Band, The Griffini Circus Show, Dance Xtreme, Georgy Rochow, The Ben Searcy Trio, The Sensational Eyers Brothers, Flourish Tribal Belly, Til The Break and 2016 SA Music Award for most popular Hip Hop Artist, Koolta.
