Harvest Green Park | Roseworthy | Review

Harvest Green Park | Roseworthy – a brand new, huge playground with towers, toddler-friendly equipment, flying foxes and all the facilities you need.

Review by Claire Davill

Harvest Green, in the centre of new housing at Roseworthy, opened in February of 2026, and it’s an amazing playground. There’s something here for everyone, and all the features of the play equipment are a nod to the local area’s industries.

Two large towers dominate the playground, representing silos, and these are connected by enclosed net bridges. The towers further connect to a landscaped hill, with tube slides and large rock steps surrounding the slopes.

There are also two large tube slides attached to the silos, and each silo tower contains at least two options for climbing the tower – an easier option including platforms and staircases, and a more challenging option including basket and climbing nets. There’s plenty of room for adults to climb the towers without ducking or squeezing through tight spaces.

The silos also include ladders and climbing walls for even more challenge.

The agricultural theme continues with a large walk-through wine barrel and a smaller piece of equipment that looks like a windmill. This equipment is aimed at bigger kids, with tall climbing nets and climbing walls, and another tube slide. You’ll also find an accessible merry-go-round here.

Nearby is a log scramble with climbing nets, and a nearby in-ground trampoline.

A dedicated toddler-friendly playspace is also included. This includes a fantastic tractor-themed piece of equipment, sensory spinners, a basket swing, a play shop, and a small tube slide.

The top of the mountain can be reached via the silo towers or by climbing up the numerous steps on the slopes. You’ll get a great view of the whole park from up here.

Once you scale the mountain in the centre of the park, you’ll find nature play logs and stepping stones and a dual flying fox on the other side of the mountain. The flying fox has “brakes” built into the ropes, so that it’s easier to pull the seats up to the launch pad without worrying they’ll glide back to the centre on their own if let go.

This side of the mountain also includes a half-court basketball court and a large area of lawn with football goal posts at each end.

The park includes a small off-street car park, toilet block, large picnic shelter with barbeques, and a drinking fountain. At the time of our visit, there were additional picnic tables fenced off with foundations for additional shelters.

Things to Consider:

  • The playground is not fenced, and several sections are close to the surrounding roads. These roads are quiet suburban roads, but you will still need to keep an eye on little ones.
  • There is very little shade in the park. Hats and sunscreen are a must.

Location:

Haselgrove Drive, Roseworthy.

Access from Kangaroo Flat Road to the south, or The Boulevard from the north, then drive along High Street. The off-street carpark is located on Ingoldby Place, which borders the north side of the park (not yet visible on Google Maps).
