Honeymyrtle is hosting their first ever Open Day.
Get involved and join the discussion about the importance of nature immersion in your children’s lives.
Research from all around the world is telling us that children need to spend more time connected to nature in free, unstructured play, using natural resources and experiencing the natural world in their whole day, all year round.
So how can you make each day a unique, nature-filled experience for children at home, or in a family day care or kindergarten setting? How do you sustain that practice without burning out or breaking the budget?
At Honeymyrtle’s Open Day you will gain ideas for creating your own natural play environment at home and get some tools for engaging children in nature-based activities. Check out some resources that are cheap and simple to make or source that will give your children hours of play and learn about how you can enjoy being outside as much as your children will.
The key is keeping it simple, keeping it natural and keeping it child-oriented.
Suitable for parents and educators.
Tickets: $40 including light lunch and refreshments
