You can have a 10 day holiday using only 3 annual leave days this year.
This year in April 2019, the planets are all aligned in the best way for taking a holiday. If you haven’t realised yet, the school holidays, Easter and ANZAC Day all combine in a way that gives you maximum time for a holiday.
What do we mean? Well, if you take from Friday 19 April 2019 (Good Friday) until Sunday 28 April 2019 – that’s 10 days – you only need to use 3 days of annual leave as there are 3 public holidays during this period. This is all during school holidays so it’s a perfect time to book in some family holiday time. It’s been a few years since this has aligned like this. Whether you go away or stay at home it’s a great chance to have maximum time off using only a few days of leave from work. So, book it in before everyone else at work does!
