If your Loom Band fanatics at home have graduated from making a thousand bracelets and are keen to make something a bit more complicated and useful, they may like to try one of these iPod covers. Miss 9 was very pleased with the way hers turned out and now my iPod is looking decidedly bright and cheerful as well as being well protected.
Miss 9 assures me that once you’ve learnt how to do it, it’s easy! The photos above and below are of her first iPod cover. She thinks there were approximately 600 loom bands needed to create this. You only need one loom to make this but it needs to be the sort that has a detachable part. As an added feature, these loom bands are also glow in the dark. We discovered our local Browse in and Save now have all their bags of loom bands for $1 for 300 bands (including these glow in the dark ones).
They make great presents for friends!
