AFL Max – Australia’s first dedicated AFL family entertainment centre!
AFL Max is the nation’s first immersive footy skills and entertainment centre. Backed by the biggest names in the sport, their state-of-the-art facility brings together the latest technology and traditional skills development for players and fans of all ages.
Merging state of the art technology and traditional skills development with fun for all ages, the centre will allow players and fans of AFL to test themselves against bespoke kicking, passing, fitness and tackling activations to enhance their skills. Alongside AFL challenges, the centre will host a virtual reality zone, climbing walls and soft play areas as well as food and beverage options making it South Australia’s new hub of AFL-themed entertainment for all the family.
Proudly situated in Adelaide’s west, you’ll be able to sharpen up on your kicking, passing and tackling skills, work up a sweat, experience the excitement of a live game in the virtual reality zone, entertain the kids and more. All under one gigantic 5,500m2 roof.

ABOUT
AFL Max is the brainchild of James Podsiadly (former Crows and Geelong Player) who had a vision to take the Australian footy experience to the next level. Together with co-founders Darren Thomas and Eddie Taylor, Pods’ vision was to build a safe and interactive venue where all people feel welcome. And there was no better partner than one of the most inclusive sports in the world, the AFL, to help that vision become a reality.
Today, almost three years in the making, and backed by some of the biggest names in the sport, AFL Max is an indoor 5500m² family entertainment and training facility. The Centre merges state of the art technology and traditional skills development with fun for all ages.
At AFL Max players and fans of AFL get to test themselves against bespoke kicking, passing, fitness and tackling activations to enhance their skills. Alongside AFL challenges, the centre includes a virtual reality zone, climbing walls and soft play areas.

PARTIES
AFL Max is the perfect venue for girls and boys who love AFL! They will take care of everything including the food and drinks, plus each party has its own dedicated host who will greet you and your team on arrival and make sure everything runs smoothly until the final siren. AFL Max has been designed with the whole community in mind where the common bond is a love of Australian rules football. Whether you want to come in with the whole family and watch a game live while the kids play or you want to improve your football skills, AFL Max caters for all.
With a bar, café and stadium style seating surrounding the main playing arena, its fun and exciting and a great way to spend time with your friends and family.

AGE GUIDE
There are no age restrictions to enter the AFL Max venue. However, to participate in their activity areas, all participants must be a minimum of 5 years of age. For children younger than 5 years, they offer a ‘soft play area’ so everyone can join in the fun at AFL Max.
