From shimmering Arabian days to sweeping Arabian nights, Aladdin finally gets its own high-tech, live-action update from director Guy Ritchie.
The much-loved rags-to-riches tale is given fresh life with a talented new cast, including Mena Massoud as the titular street-urchin-turned-prince, Naomi Scott as the bold and beautiful Princess Jasmine, and Navid Negahban as her protective father the Sultan. And, of course, inside the lamp is none other than Will Smith, the hilarious and enigmatic Genie whose three wishes turn Agrabah on its head.
Along with the exhilarating, magical visuals Disney is known for (flying carpets much?), it also features a stirring soundtrack faithful to the classic score, along with some new material from the songwriters who created the beloved originals.
