Fledglings Bird Banding Day

Join BioR and Birds SA at their ‘Fledglings’ bird banding day at Monarto. It’s FREE and lots of fun.

Know some little ones who would love to see some wildlife up close? Or perhaps you’d like to instil in them a new-found wonder for feathered friends. Birds SA and BioR are inviting young people to get involved with the annual bird banding activities at Frahns Farm, Monarto. It’s a chance to see how wildlife research is done and see the gems of the bush up close.

Kids and their guardians can go along for an early or late-morning session on the fourth weekend in March. No experience is necessary, but places are limited so book soon.

(Note: the event will be cancelled in the event of extreme weather)
