Adelaide’s eastern suburbs icon, Gelato Bello offers freshly made gelati and delicious desserts including traditional homemade sweets such as cannoli and zeppole.

Gelato Bello received a major transformation and expansion in 2024, resulting in a brand new store with a fresh new look.  Not only do they have an extensive range of gelati available all year round, during the evening it is the perfect destination for a sweet treat after dinner, featuring a modern Italian-inspired dessert menu created by Chef, Andrew Ferrara.  Highlights on the dessert menu, which is all made in-house, include a Baci Parfait, Honey Gelato Sandwich, and Limoncello Tiramisu.

For those over 18 and wanting an alcoholic treat, Gelato Bello’s cocktail menu features several frozen concoctions, all made with a selection of their gelati flavours. Highlights include the Dark Chocolate Mudslide with dark chocolate gelato, kahlua, baileys and vodka, the Pina Colada with coconut gelato, coconut rum and pineapple juice, and the Strawberry Margarita with strawberry gelato, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and strawberry liquor.

Owner, Marcus Nardone, was thrilled to reopen the doors and welcome the community back to the popular gelateria.

“Gelato Bello has a long history of serving the community and has become a destination for families in the eastern suburbs. After almost 30 years of business, generations have been through these doors and nostalgic parents who visited when they were children are now bringing in their own kids.

“I’m excited to welcome people back into the store and for them to be immersed in a whole new experience. We’re really bringing the fun back into gelati and can’t wait to share our new extended menu which reflects ‘old skool values, new skool flava’”, he said.

Gelato Bello’s fresh new look represents a new era for this much loved venue and there’s now plenty of space with new tables and chairs both inside and outside.
