Kid/Dub, a new show from the creators of the global smash hit show Hot Dub Time Machine, is premiering in Adelaide. Kid/Dub is a family-friendly take on Hot Dub’s world-famous, time-travelling, audiovisual dance party – go on an immersive journey through the history of pop, rock, soul, rap and dance music with your kids.
About Kid/Dub
During this mega-mix of big people songs for little ears, you can twist and shout in a room full of bubbles to music from the soulful sixties, rock out through the seventies, disco through a shower of confetti in the eighties, grab a glow stick and jump up and down for a 90s rave, get lost in a room full of red balloons to noughties pop, and singalong to the radio and kids movie hits of today.
You’ll be Rocking Around the Clock, doing the Rock Lobster, the Macarena, stayin’ alive with the BeeGees, rapping with Outkast and Pharrell, and shake-ing it off with Taylor and Beyonce.

People have been asking for a kids’ version of Hot Dub Time Machine for ages, and about a year ago we had the idea of me hosting it instead of Tom. Then we just had to find enough babysitters, create all the content and turn it into a show!”
