Registrations are now open for the 2015 Macca’s Next Step Program to be held at Adelaide Oval and AAMI Stadium from Monday September 28 to Wednesday September 30.

Introduced in 2010, the Macca’s Next Step program offers boys and girls aged between five and 16 the opportunity to hone their skills while experiencing state-of-the-art facilities at the new home of South Australian football.

Players are involved in coaching clinics and modified matches while also being treated to a guided tour of the AFL change rooms at Adelaide Oval.

The program is broken into three age-groups to cater for children of differing interest and ability.

For those aged between five and eight, two three-hour sessions are on offer at Adelaide Oval on Monday September 28, starting at 9am and 1pm.

A two-day program is offered for the other age-groups – those aged between nine and 12 and children aged between 13 and 16.

The first day – Tuesday September 29 – will be at Adelaide Oval while the second day – Wednesday September 30 – will be at AAMI Stadium.

An elite training session is involved in these programs as well as a specialist Kicking Academy.

AFL Combine testing will be provided for those in the eldest age bracket while participants can also learn about careers in the football industry as well as being involved in a leadership workshop.

Players of all ages will receive a personalised Next Step guernsey, a family pass to the 2015 SANFL Grand Final and a Next Step promotional pack.
