John Street Family Fun Day
With more than 2 million small businesses in Australia, and many of these on our main streets and in our business precincts, they do an enormous amount for the community, and we need this to continue.
There will be a family fun day held at John Street in Salisbury to celebrate one of these main streets of Australia. Enjoy music, stalls, kids’ activities, visit the Hub library and more. Help to support the main streets and town centres across Australia.
Small business in Australia:
- provide a huge number of jobs to those that rely on local or flexible work,
- create local spending,
- support local causes and charities, as well as sporting groups and schools
- are an important place for the elderly or vulnerable to find their fit in the community,
- build connection and a safe space, and
- allow a huge number of families to stay financially afloat.
This week will celebrate the vibrancy and importance of Main streets to their local communities.
