The Adelaide International will be kicking off with a Family Fun Day in 2026.
Serving up hours of fun for everyone, the first day of the Adelaide International is all about the kids. Taking over Pinky Flat, a day of family friendly fun is on offer on Monday 12 January 2026.
Think giant lawn games under the shade of the trees opposite The Drive, inflatable tennis games and other activities, face painting, balloon making, player appearances, and even the chance to pick up a racquet and have a go at Tennis Hot Shots.
With food trucks and cold drinks on offer, the adults can sit back and relax on the lawns of Pinky Flat whilst the kids enjoy all the planned activities. Plus, it’s day one of action at the Adelaide International with general admission tickets allowing you court side for all the action.
The 2026 Kids’ Day program is epic, with some fabulous new initiatives this year:
- The Court Yard: A multi-tennis discipline space offering free access to try beach tennis, pickle ball and pop tennis. The perfect opportunity to get kids off screens and active, trying new sports in a fun, welcoming environment. Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a racquet for the first time, The Court Yard has something for everyone.
- Splash Park: Bring your bathers and slip down the mega double lane and Jurassic water slide Slip, slide, and splash your way to a cool adventure to beat the heat.
- Giant Tennis Guess the Player Game: Test your tennis knowledge, grab a friend and play giant Guess Who amongst the trees, featuring past winners of the Adelaide International.
- Kidschella: Kidschella themed braid and face gem station. 360 photobooth, Taylor Swift and Kpop dance and singalong, glitter bar, Disney themed characters – all week!
- AI Fan Phone: Leave a message on the Fan Phone – what do you love about AI, your favourite player and why does tennis make you smile!
- Bike and Blend: Create an AI signature pedal powered smoothie – Baseline Blitz and Raspberry Racquet.
