Lolly Jar Circus Classes
Lolly Jar Circus has been operating for 6 years and is a charity that runs circus classes that are inclusive of young people with disabilities or at social risk.
Young people with Down Syndrome, other chromosomal disorders, cerebral palsy, muscular weakness, autism, intellectual disability and who are in State care or fostered, along with their able siblings and friends tumble, stilt-walk, use a trapeze, hula hoop, spin plates and juggle.
While they are having all this fun, they are becoming fitter, stronger, more flexible, learning social skills like taking turns, sharing and respecting personal space, making friends and becoming more confident.
Lolly Jar Circus has classes at North Adelaide on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school and at Elizabeth on Wednesdays. They have regular, concession and NDIS rates.
Locations:
Elizabeth East | The Spruance Hall, Spruance Road Elizabeth East
North Adelaide | Estonian Hall at 200 Jeffcott St North Adelaide
