2021 Lolly Jar Circus Classes – Bookings Now Open
Bookings for Term 1 Lolly Jar Circus classes are now open. LJC brightens the lives of young people with tumbling, balancing, stilt-walking, trapeze, hula-hooping, juggling, plate-spinning and much more.
Lolly Jar Circus welcomes all young people and is the only circus school in South Australia inclusive of young people with disabilities or who are socially at risk. They do this by offering activities that are non-competitive and modified while building skills at each participant’s own rate.
Located in North Adelaide and Elizabeth East, LJC classes benefit young people’s mental and physical health and also promote social skills as participants must take turns, share, respect personal space and cooperate in group activities.
The first class is a free come and try session. After that, the NDIS has approved LJC as a provider under the category ‘Capacity Building Increased Social and Community Participation’. Lolly Jar Circus also offers concession rates.
Lolly Jar Circus classes are safe, fun and led by qualified trainers experienced in working with a range of young people and all have Department of Human Services Working with Children Clearances.
