A Long Lazy Lunch at the Lazy Ballerina | Dinglebadinga | Review

the Lazy Ballerina

A long, lazy lunch at the Lazy Ballerina

The name of this idyllic venue is not going to be forgotten quickly! The Lazy Ballerina really is a beautiful spot to spend a sunny afternoon with friends relaxing over a bottle of wine, nibbles and pizza.

the Lazy Ballerina

The Lazy Ballerina is located at Dinglebadinga, opposite Kuitpo Forest and 10 mins from either Willunga, McLaren Vale or Meadows. If you have all afternoon to spend it is well worth a visit. Our lives are all busy, so this is the perfect place to unwind and catch up with friends and family.

the Lazy Ballerina

The great thing about the Lazy Ballerina (apart from the great food and wine) is that it is very family-friendly. There is a beautiful, shady, meandering garden that kids can explore. There is a dedicated area for a game of Petanque and also a paddock which the kids can run around in and have a game of soccer or footy.  Tables and chairs are located all around the gardens so it is easy to keep an eye on kids while they wander, play games or climb trees in the paddock.

The Lazy Ballerina is family-owned and operated and they make and sell limited edition wines. The owners love to chat with guests, so there is a really welcoming and relaxed feel to the venue.

On the menu is a range of homemade dips and lavosh, crackers and cheese, dried fruit and nuts, bread and dukka and pizzas made by Andrew Clappis (Happy Foods) plus delectable desserts and Sunshine Ice Blocks for the kids. There are quite a few wines on the menu including grenache, pinot noir and some beautiful sparkling wines.
