Celebrate Lunar New Year at Adelaide Arcade as it transforms into a magnificent display of lanterns to symbolise happiness and good luck for the Year of the Horse.
Adelaide Arcade welcomes the Lunar New Year with a celebration honouring tradition, culture and community to usher in the Year of the Horse.
For the occasion, the Arcade will be adorned with a beautiful display of traditional Chinese lanterns, creating a festive atmosphere that symbolises happiness, good fortune and new beginnings.
On Tuesday 17 February at 1pm watch a traditional Lion Dance performance, bringing colour, movement and celebratory energy through the historic Arcade.
Following the performance, visitors are invited to receive a lucky red envelope containing a gold chocolate coin – a customary Lunar New Year gift symbolising blessings and prosperity. A limited number of envelopes will also include an Adelaide Arcade gift voucher.
This complimentary event is suitable for all ages and offers a memorable way to celebrate the Lunar New Year in the heart of the city.
