Mother’s Day Classic 2022
Walk or run on Sunday 8th May at up to 70 locations across Australia. Every step helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer.
The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Their aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer.
Adelaide’s 2022 event will be held in Elder Park on the southern bank of the River Torrens, bordered by the Adelaide Festival Centre and North Terrace. Participants can choose to walk or run a distance of 4.6km or 7km.
Thanks to the incredible SA sponsors MGA Insurance Group, Nova 919, PSK Private Wealth and Super SA for partnering with them in 2022, they are able to bring together the Mother’s Day Classic community in SA to celebrate their 25th anniversary, and continue to raise life-saving funds for breast cancer research.
If you’ve been touched by breast cancer they invite you to join the Survivor Wave, or join others at the front of your chosen walk, where they’ll take a moment to reflect on the strength of the MDC community.
This event is wheelchair and pram friendly (dogs are not allowed).
Race pack collection is available from the registration marquee in the event village on the day from 6.30am. Please allow ample time to collect your race pack before your start time.
The cost to register is $25.95 (child), $39.95 (concession) and $49.95 (adult). Purchase 4 or more tickets for a 15% discount.
Each registration includes a headscarf, race bib and tribute card, available for collection at the registration marquee. Your limited edition medallion will be handed over as you cross the finish line. Items are limited edition and subject to availability on the day.
