December School Holiday fun at the Myer Centre Adelaide – the centre of Christmas fun in the city – North Pole in the South!
The entire ground floor of The Myer Centre Adelaide is transforming into a Christmas spectacular, festooned in Christmas cheer with dreamy decorations, smiling shoppers, dedicated workshops, Santa’s post-box, and their wonderful Christmas Tree Trail. Wander in and choose your Christmas adventure.
A magical world awaits – Santa’s Academy
Kids, adults, families and friends, go along to Santa’s Academy for arts and crafts workshops, before or after your shopping and eating. Write that all important postcard to Santa and post it in their letterbox to the North Pole. Stop into the gift-wrapping stations supporting Ronald McDonald House to prepare your purchases with ribbons, gift tags, and love.
Adult workshops will run on Friday nights and kids’ sessions on the weekends. There are free and paid workshops available.

Santa’s Academy Launch Weekend
Don’t miss Santa’s Academy launch weekend on Friday 1 to Sunday 3 December 2023. There’s postcard writing (with an elf!) and workshops on the Friday night, and all-day Saturday and Sunday. Workshops will run daily until 24 December 2023.
New events will be added to Santa’s Academy calendar. All workshops will fill up faster than your stockings – book your favourite workshop today.
Christmas Story time for bubs, toddlers & pre-schoolers with Adelaide Library
You and your adorable babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are invited to join the festive fun with Adelaide City Library’s Christmas reading session as part of the enchanting Santa’s Academy. No reservations required – just gather your friends and make it a delightful Christmas outing.
