NAIDOC Week at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute
Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, Australia’s only NATIONAL cultural institute for First Nations peoples, will celebrate NAIDOC Week 2020 in Adelaide with a week of FREE community events kicking off on Monday 9 November.
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held around Australia each year to acknowledge the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The week is celebrated not only in indigenous communities but increasingly by government agencies, councils, workplaces, schools and sporting groups.
In 2020, NAIDOC Week was moved from July to November due to the effects of COVID19.
