Santos Symphony Under the Stars | 22 February 2014

Each year over 15,000 people flock to Elder Park for the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s biggest concert of the year! Santos Symphony Under the Stars has become a South Australian institution and one of the state’s much loved outdoor concerts. And the best thing, it’s FREE!

This year the concert will be presented by Channel 7’s Jane Doyle and feature Scottish conductor Garry Walker together with one of Australia’s best-loved baritones, José Carbó.  The concert concludes in style with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture complete with a firework spectacular!

From 6pm you can hear the Adelaide Youth Strings perform, conducted by Martin Butler (note: if the forecast temperature at 6pm is over 35ºC, Adelaide Youth Strings’ performance will be cancelled).

Pack a picnic and BYO for an unforgettable night of popular classics and family entertainment.
