Story ballets are a wonderful introduction to the art form for children.
This engaging 60-minute performance will feature fully staged excerpts from The Australian Ballet’s new production of Cinderella with narration by one of the characters and live musical accompaniment. Choreographer Alexei Ratmansky has re-imagined this classic fairytale with Surrealist-inspired sets and costumes and plenty of 1940’s glamour. Cinderella arriving at the ball in her Grace Kelly-worthy gown is a sight to behold.
