All visitors to Atkins Farm must adhere to Current SA Health regulations. Proof of covid check-in will be required as per the guidelines at the time of your visit.

Atkins Farm asks everyone to:

  • Please try to minimise your impact. Sunflower stems, although thick, can break easily and they do not want to ruin the experience for the next person.
  • Please only pick them stems that you intend to take with and leave the rest for others.
  • Please note that the sunflowers available for picking will vary in size due to the nature of flower farming.
  • Please bring your own snips and bucket as they will not be able to supply them.

  • All attendees must wear enclosed shoes.
  • Please do not touch or interact with the animals during your visit.
  • Strictly NO pets allowed on the property, this includes leaving in/on vehicles.

  • Each session is 30 minutes.
  • Due to the booking schedule, extensions of this are unable to be arranged on the day. They ask that you do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your allocated time and please leave once your session is finished.

  • Limited parking is available so please carpool where possible.

Area – Attendees must stay within the allocated picking areas of the sunflower paddock. A path has been created to move through the field, please stay on the path.

Strictly no smoking while on the property.

Drones – drones are not allowed on the property.

Facilities – There are no facilities on-farm for public use. They are located close to the town of Meadows where there are public toilets.

Rubbish – Please do not leave rubbish on their farm as this can cause harm to their animals.

Wheel chair access – unfortunately their paddock is not flat or smooth. Please contact to discuss access if assistance is required before purchasing tickets.

Please be aware that sunflowers do attract insects such as bees/wasps which may be present during your session. If you have allergies please take pre-cautions when attending.

Please be mindful of the forecast weather when booking your ticket as sunflower picking will occur rain or shine. In the event of an electrical storm all efforts will be made to reschedule your booking. No refunds will be offered.
