At REM+ Tuition, the mission is to create positive futures through supporting and motivating students, and developing their confidence in ways that schools can’t.
REM+ Tuition offers Adelaide students of all ages face-to-face tuition in small groups. Classes are organised by year group and subject, and are available for pre-school children, primary school pupils and secondary school students.
There are also a range of specialist courses, holiday workshops and short courses available throughout the course of the academic year and during school holidays.
Students at REM+ Tuition are given support and guidance in a setting that most schools simply can’t provide. Their small group tuition gives pupils of all ages personalised support in a positive environment that also allows them the space to work independently.
Tuition for students of all ages
REM+ Tuition provides small group tuition for students of all ages. For pupils in primary school, this includes classes in Reading, English and Maths. Secondary school students receive tuition across a range of subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
Year 11 and 12 Tuition
Their specialist small group tuition gives year 11 and 12 SACE students the opportunity to consolidate their skills and focus on areas where they feel they need additional support or guidance in all subject areas, including: English, Literary Studies, Essential Maths, General Maths, Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Research Project and UCAT.

Rem+ Tuition are pleased to be able provide support for students of all abilities and ages through a range of specialist tuition programs.
Dyslexia
Students diagnosed with dyslexia are provided for at REM+ Tuition through a structured, multi-sensory learning program in which reading, spelling, grammar and writing skills are taught. Students attend in groups of two, as the intensive and highly structured nature of the lessons involves a great deal of interaction with and intervention by the teacher.
Pre-school reading program
Their phonics-based Pre-school Reading Program is available for children aged 4½ years old in the two terms prior to their starting school. The program focuses on interactivity and hands-on fun, with phonics being used to develop both reading and writing skills. These foundations help pre-school children to become successful spellers, while also encouraging them to develop a positive attitude towards learning.
Ignite program and scholarships
They provide specialist tuition programs for primary school students intending to sit both ACER Scholarship examinations to independent schools, and those applying for entrance to Gifted and Talented programs at Adelaide secondary schools through the Ignite Examination.
Designed for year 6 students of above average academic ability and attainment, the program helps pupils to accelerate their learning and consolidate their skills, while preparing them for the process of sitting these important exams.
Research Project
Specialist tutors provide Year 11 and 12 SACE students undertaking the Research Project with guidance and support, along with a range of strategies that enable them successfully to complete this demanding task. They are supported and motivated to begin the project, given assistance in exploring and defining their area of interest, and guided in selecting the appropriate form of research.
UCAT
UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) is the test that has been developed as part of the entry procedure to study health related careers, such as medicine and dentistry, at Australian universities. REM+ Tuition provides secondary students wishing to pursue study in these fields with face-to-face tuition explicitly designed to help prepare them for this examination.
Holiday courses and short courses
As well as a regular program of tuition throughout the academic year, they also offer a variety of short courses and holiday courses designed to give students additional support and to supplement their learning.

School Holiday Maths Workshops
Maths Workshops in January 2020 for students in years 2 to 10 that enables them to consolidate their learning from last year and make a positive start to the new school year.
Comprehension and Critical Thinking Skills
This program is designed for students in Years 5, 6 and 7 who are looking to improve their critical thinking and comprehension skills when reading.
Creative Writing
A short course designed for students in Years 5, 6 and 7 in which they are taught the principles of creative writing in a wide variety of styles and genres, and given opportunities to put them into practice.
