RSPCA SA Movie Fundraiser | Wallis Cinemas Mitcham | 2 Oct 2024

RSPCA SA School Holiday Movie Night to Support Animals.

The Wild Robot will screen on Wednesday 2 October 2024 at Wallis Cinemas in Mitcham, with part proceeds from ticket sales going to support animals being cared for by RSPCA South Australia.

The Wild Robot is an animated science fiction film about a robot named Roz, who finds herself on an island rich with wildlife.  The heartwarming film is based on the popular book series of the same name by Peter Brown, and its star-studded ensemble voice cast includes Bill Nighy, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Kit Connor and Mark Hamill.

The film has been described as a “solid match” for RSPCA’s values and the added bonus of attending this session, is that you will be contributing to the care of some of the state’s most vulnerable animals. RSPCA SA currently has more than 550 animals in care, with 240 (44%) being housed at its main animal care centre at O’Halloran Hill. The remaining animals are either in foster care, on trial adoptions or at the organisation’s Whyalla shelter.
