The City of Salisbury have reviewed the state weather warnings for the coming weekend, and have reached a final decision to cancel the Salisbury Community Christmas Carols event scheduled for Saturday, 9 December.
The safety of the community, volunteers, performers, vendors and staff is of the utmost importance to Council, and this conclusion has been made after a thorough risk assessment and consideration of all potential solutions.We wish the community a very safe and happy holiday season, and encourage them to go to the City of Salisbury website for future events and programs.We appreciate your understanding and support at this time.
Join the fun at this FREE community event supported by local businesses, schools, the City of Salisbury and the local Lions Club of Salisbury. There will be free children’s entertainment, plenty of Christmas music to sing along to and delicious food will be available for purchase. There will even be a visit from Santa.
