McDonald’s West Richmond Opens with New PlayPlace
McDonald’s West Richmond on Marion Road will today open with a new PlayPlace, following the State’s easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
The restaurant officially opened on Friday, 4 December and features modern décor, a McCafé and a dual-lane Drive-Thru. It will also incorporate solar panels on the roof, which will help power the restaurant.
The new PlayPlace is 6 metres high, 5 metres wide and has 6 levels for children to play, climb and slide. This will provide children with space to play while parents can enjoy a meal or coffee.
Since opening, McDonald’s West Richmond has created jobs for over 100 locals, who have been hired into a mix of fulltime, part-time and casual roles including crew, management, baristas and maintenance.
This is part of McDonald’s plans to recruit more than 820 South Australians and 17,400 Australians nationwide before the year is out.
