Get ready to Play Wild at Adelaide Zoo these summer school holidays. Pick up your Play Wild booklet and set off on a fun-filled trail that celebrates some of Australia’s most iconic native animals.
As you make your way through the zoo, you’ll discover fascinating facts, learn how these unique animals love to play, and search for the answers to special questions hidden on signs along the way.
Inside the booklet, you’ll also find your very own take-home Adelaide Zoo boardgame. Perfect for curious kids, families, and anyone ready to explore, learn and play these holidays.
Home to over 2500 animals and 250 species with daily free keeper presentations, a day out at the Zoo is fun for the whole family. Remember, littlies under four years of age can enter the Zoo for free!
Free Flight Bird Show
11.30am daily on the Central Lawn
Throw out a picnic rug and get the whole family involved in this exciting presentation as a range of species like the Barking Owl and Blue and Gold Macaw soar over your heads.
Adelaide Zoo is open every day of the school holidays 9:30am – 5pm
Get within a whisker and upgrade your visit with an animal experience!
Watch those smiles widen as you feed a gentle giraffe or watch Obi’s impressive jaw munch through treats at Pygmy Hippo Lunchtime. Check out the experiences on offer.
