The Sea Shepherd marine debris team are conducting a beach clean up at Aldinga Beach on Sunday 23 September 2018. Go along and lend a hand to clean up the beach and protect marine life.
If you are keen you can also give the team a hand to sort and document the debris found, and learn about the items found.
The Sea Shepherd team will also be giving a talk to children about the impacts of marine debris and what they can do to help protect marine life and the oceans. Students of the Children’s University Australia program can also receive a stamp in their passport for taking part in the clean up and attending the talk.
Make a day of it with the family, bring some protective gloves or tongs for picking up the rubbish, and help keep our beaches clean for everyone.
